PURPOSE: A phase difference compensating method and a variable attenuating device using the same are provided to add a transmission line which has specific impedance, thereby reducing a phase difference due to a parasitic component of a pin diode. CONSTITUTION: An attenuating device includes an input terminal, an output terminal, a first PIN diode(501), a second PIN diode(502), a ninety degree hybrid(503), a transmission line(504), and a second transmission line(505). The first and second transmission lines are connected to the coupling terminal and a transmission terminal of the ninety degree hybrid in series. The first PIN diode is serially connected to the first transmission line. The first and second transmission lines use specific impedance values and electric angle values. |
