Provided is a flange joint for a molten metal stirring body, configured so that, even if used for many hours or for an extended period of time, the flange joint can be easily detached from the shaft and does not cause the breakage of the shaft. This flange joint (1) for a molten metal stirring body is provided with: a cylindrical support section (11) capable of grasping the upper end-side peripheral surface of the shaft (21) of the molten metal stirring body (2); and a circular protrusion section (12) protruding horizontally outward from the upper end of the support section (11). The flange joint (1) is split into left and right halves consisting of a right section (1a) and a left section (1b).
