<p>The object of the invention is to provide an electric dust collector power control means which is capable of maintaining long-term stable dust collecting efficiency, is capable of restoring to generate normal electric field and continuing dust collecting work after abnormal electric discharge, and reduces maintenance frequency. A dust collector comprises an ionization portion, a dust collecting portion and the power supply thereof. The dust collector further comprises a constant current control portion which supplies constant current to the ionization portion, a voltage stage control portion which applies preset voltage to the dust collecting portion and gives off instruction of preset voltage, which may not cause abnormal discharge, based on information sent by an inspection portion detecting abnormal discharge, and a voltage change portion which changes the preset voltage according to a voltage change instruction.</p> |
