A tiller bar type joystick for a steering system of a vehicle is provided to adjust a direction and speed of the vehicle accurately by installing a switch member at a front end of a second bar member and rotating a first bar member while the switch member is on. A tiller bar type joystick(10) for a steering system of a vehicle comprises first and second bar members(11,12). The first bar member is shaft-rotated on a shaft. The second bar member is shaft-rotated on the other shaft perpendicular to the shaft. The second bar member is placed at a predetermined position(11a) of a side of the first bar member. Left and right turning of the vehicle is set according to a shaft rotary direction on the shaft of the first bar member, and forward and reward operation of the vehicle is set according to the shaft rotation on the other shaft. A switch member(13) is installed at a front end(12a) of the second bar member. The vehicle is spin-turned according to the shaft rotation of the first bar member when the switch member is on. |
