<p>The invention relates to a device for descaling the slats of an air cooling tower, including a hammer (1) comprising a casing (2) in which a piston (3) is mounted, which piston is movable between an in position and an out position, such as to periodically move the piston (3) out and then in again in such a manner as to detach the scaling from a slat by knocking against said slat with a percussive end (4) of the piston (3), and including the means for blowing air, located at the end of percussive end (4) of the piston (3) for extracting by blowing the scaling that has been detached by percussive action.</p> |
