PURPOSE: OsRINGC2-1 or OsRINGC2-2 gene which is derived from Oryza sativa is provided to show strong expression under a salt stress condition and to produce a transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana plant with salt resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling salt resistance in a plant comprises the steps of: transforming a recombinant vector containing Oryza sativa-derived OsRINGC2-1 or OsRINGC2-2 gene to plant cells; and overexpressing OsRINGC2-1 or OsRINGC2-2 gene in the plant cells and enhancing salt resistance in the plant. OsRINGC2-1 and OsRINGC2-2 genes have each base sequence of sequence numbers 1 and 2, respectively. |
