PURPOSE: A signal interference removing apparatus and method thereof are provided to improve the reception performance of an AT-DMB(Advanced Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver in a single frequency network system. CONSTITUTION: An interference cancellation unit presumes the channel distortion of an output signal of an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) demodulating unit(S505). The interference cancellation unit generates the channel distortion of a frequency domain(S506). The interference cancellation unit measures the time delay of a T-DMB(Terrestrial-Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal(S508). The interference cancellation unit selects the T-DMB signal(S509). The interference cancellation unit generates an interferential signal(S510). |
