<p>The method involves contacting a low temperature smoke with a coolant having a predetermined pressure in a heat exchange zone (A), where the temperature of the coolant is lower than the temperature of the low temperature smoke. The coolant output in the form of vapor is expanded in a turbine (T) for driving a generator (G) to produce electricity. A portion of the coolant is condensed, and the condensed coolant is pumped so as to compress the condensed coolant. The compressed coolant is returned to the heat exchange area at a pressure equal to the predetermined pressure of the coolant. The coolant includes one of alkane having 1-7 carbon atoms, an alkene having 1-7 carbon atoms, an alcohol, a molecule containing an amine function, a molecule having a thiol function, and a molecule having a chlorine atom.</p> |
