<p>An observation wheel type ride, including a support structure (1), a wheel (3), said wheel being rotatable mounted in said support structure (1) and/or including transportation means, which are movable supported on the wheel (3), and a drive mechanism (8), including a rotary drive and a drive (8) cable, whereas a section of the drive cable (12) is detachably fixed to a circumference of the wheel (3) and/or to the transportation means for transmitting the rotary movement of the rotary drive to the wheel (3) and/or to the transportation means, is characterized by deflection means (14) for deflecting in a lateral direction with respect to the wheel (3) that section of the drive cable, which is led over the rotary drive (8).</p> |
