PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a photosensitive dry film comprising a resin composition layer capable of forming a coating film having excellent film hardness and high refractive index as well as exhibiting preferable etchant resistance and adhesion with a base material, an undercoat and the like; and a protective film or touch-panel insulating film using the same.SOLUTION: The resin composition layer of the photosensitive dry film is formed from a resin composition containing at least (A) a cardo resin or a compound represented by the general formula (I) specified in the figure, and (B) a silane compound having a urethane or amide backbone.
