A dry decontaminating apparatus for safety shoes decontaminates the safety shoes for a specific area of a nuclear power plant and includes: a cleaning unit which cleans the bottoms and lateral sides of the safety shoes; a driving unit which transversely moves the cleaning unit; a housing to which a worker with the safety shoes climbs; and a control unit which controls and operates a decontaminating device and includes a control device to transversely move and automatically operate the cleaning unit by controlling the driving unit. The dry decontaminating apparatus for safety shoes further includes a decontaminant inhalation device which inhales contaminants from the cleaning unit. The contaminant inhalation device and the driving unit are simultaneously operated by the control unit. The contaminant inhalation device uses a hepa filter which filters particles with 0.3um. According to the dry decontaminating apparatus for safety shoes of the present invention, The dry decontaminating apparatus is located in the entry of a reactor building, functions as a separating unit for a repair period, reduces liquefied waste by not using cleaning water, prevents radioactive contamination, and improves a working environment. |
