PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for specifying an olfactory receptor contained in one olfactory cell.SOLUTION: A method for specifying an olfactory receptor contained in one olfactory cell from a mouse olfactory receptor group A comprises amplifying a cDNA obtained from a mRNA contained in one olfactory cell with a reverse transcriptase by a PCR method using a forward primer represented by a specific sequence and a reverse primer represented by a specified sequence, and then deciding whether the genetic sequence of the amplified cDNA is coincident or not with a genetic sequence contained in a genetic sequence encoding an olfactory receptor contained in the mouse olfactory receptor group A. |
