PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage sensing device in a tire travel testing machine capable of preventing an occurrence of loss of a test time and the reliability of a tire durability test from being damaged by suppressing an occurrence of a malfunction affected by vibrations and swinging of a tire and a rotating shaft of a load wheel in a tire durability test, and reducing a damage repair time in the tire durability test.SOLUTION: A damage sensing device in a tire travel testing machine for sensing a damage of a tread part occurring in a tire rotating in interlock with rotations of a load wheel to stop the tire travel testing machine in a tire durability test includes a bar 21 whose shape is adjusted in accordance with the shape of a tire, a holding tool 22 for holding the bar 21, a rotating shaft 23 holding the holding tool 22 in the vicinity of one end, and a limit switch 24 arranged in contact with the vicinity of the other end of the rotating shaft 23 so as to change a contact state by the rotation of the rotating shaft 23, wherein a weight 28 of a prescribed weight is attached to the rotating shaft 23. |
