Disclosed are a signal transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device obtaining a signal to be sent; and the terminal device sending the signal through a visible light medium, after being demodulated, the signal sent through the visible light medium being carried on a power line for transmission. With the present invention, the problem in related technologies that visible light communication serves as a wireless access manner to be integrated with the power line communication technology is solved, the building of the communication network can be more convenient and faster, and the advantages of the visible light communication and the power line communication technology are fully realized. |
