PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus capable of stably transporting an original even if a roller for transporting the original to a reading unit is decentered.SOLUTION: The image reading apparatus comprises: transportation means for transporting the original to the reading unit; ejection means for ejecting the original read by the reading unit; storage means which detects the transportation data of transportation means and ejection means on the basis of the displacement amount of the transportation roller and stores the transportation data; and control means which controls a feeding amount by the transportation means. On the basis of the result of detection from an image obtained by reading a ladder pattern original containing plural lines as test image information and the transportation data stored in the storage means, the feeding amount by the transportation means is corrected. |
