PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that can prevent an unintended printing medium from being sent out to a resist roller at the release of jam, even if suppressing the lowering of the transfer accuracy of the printing medium to the resist roller.SOLUTION: An external-side drive force transmission unit of a common drive unit 16 transmits only rotation drive forces in forward rotation directions to a pickup roller 23 and a scraper roller 22 of an external paper supply unit 11 from an output shaft of a common motor, and an internal-side drive force transmission unit connects the output shaft of the common motor and an intermediate transfer roller 36 of an internal paper supply unit 12 so that drive rotation forces in the forward direction and a reverse direction are always transmitted. A control unit 7 separates the highest paper sheet P on an external paper supply base 21 and the scraper roller 22 at paper-feeding from the internal paper supply unit 12. |
