PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an engaging amount of an engaging lock part 13a with a signal transmission medium F sufficient and constant in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A reference contact surface 11e1 having a level difference shape protruding toward an upper surface of a signal transmission medium F with respect to other portions of an inner wall surface of a medium insertion path is formed in a part of the inner wall surface of the medium insertion path facing the upper surface of the signal transmission medium F. The upper surface of the signal transmission medium F is brought into contact with at least the reference contact surface 11e1 of the medium insertion path, and the upper surface of the signal transmission medium F is positioned in a thickness direction using the reference contact surface 11e1 as a reference. Therefore, an engaging amount and a releasing amount of an engaging lock part 13a is kept constant regardless of variations in thickness of the signal transmission medium F, holding power of the signal transmission medium F can be stabilized and an electric connector can be downsized. |
