MAGNETIC ROTATION ANGLE DETECTOR

A magnetic rotation angle detector comprising: a disk-shaped magnet magnetized such that the magnetic pole changes n times (n being an integer of at least 1) every rotation; a magnetic body slit plate that rotates integrally with the magnet and wherein sections having high magnetic flux transmittance and sections having low magnetic flux transmittance are alternately repeated such that the magnetic flux transmittance changes m times (m being an integer of at least 2, and m>n) every rotation; a magnetic sensor that detects magnetism, from the magnet, that has traveled through the magnetic body slit plate; and a calculation unit that finds the rotation angle of the magnet from the magnetic sensor output.
