PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a transmission member which is used in a pressing device and unfailingly presses a detection element while attaining good operation feeling.SOLUTION: A pressing device includes a pressing member (10), a detection element (20), and a transmission member (30). The transmission member (30) includes a pressed surface (31) and a pressing surface (32), has a shape elongated in a direction that connects the pressed surface (31) with the pressing surface (32), and is used in the pressing device. In a manufacturing method of the transmission device, a melted resin is injected into a mold and cooled thereby forming the transmission member (30) at transmission member formation process. In the transmission member formation process, the mold, which forms the transmission member (30) so that an outer shape of the pressing surface (32) is larger than an outer shape of the pressed surface (31), a lightening part (33) recessed from the pressing surface (32) to the pressed surface (31) is included, and the outer surface of the pressing surface (32) is the same as or smaller than an outer shape of a surface of the detection element (20), is used. |
