摘要 The invention relates to a power amplifier circuit, configured for efficient wideband dynamic load modulation, to a method for efficient wideband dynamic load modulation in a power amplifier circuit and to a wireless communication node. The power amplifier circuit (1) comprises a varactive element (2) configured for modulating an output impedance (3) of the power amplifier circuit (1) operable in a predefined power level range, wherein the varactive element (2) is further configured for being tuned in synchronization with the power level such that by adjusting the ratio of the reactance of the varactive element (2) and a predetermined resistance for the output impedance (3) of the power amplifier circuit (1) a predefined power amplifier efficiency over a predefined frequency range is obtained. In this way, a power amplifier circuit is provided which operates with a high efficiency and is adapted for a wide frequency range while being simple to realize and working linearly over a broad range.
