The radio engineering system allows for the rapid determination of the coordinates of a device, including in the presence of a large number of devices. A radio signal receiving radio engineering device (2) comprises a unit (8) for the preliminary establishment of not necessarily precise coordinates, in a given three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system, of the phase center of a receiving antenna of the device (2), a recorder (5) of the moments in time at which radio signals are received in a given time keeping system, the signals being transmitted by N >= 4 radio engineering devices (3), units (10, 11, 12) for the evaluation of inputted parameters, and a unit (13) for the unequivocal determination of the spacial coordinates of a device using the simple expressions proposed. The system can be realized with the help of modern hardware components and microprocessor technology.
