PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine that can improve reliability of a cylinder head gasket.SOLUTION: A cylinder block 22 of an engine (internal combustion engine) 1 includes a middle oil passage 222 that allows oil to flow downward, the oil flowing down from a lubricated member along a row direction of four cylinder bores 223 (223a-223d). In the middle oil passage 222, a bulkhead 24 is provided to divide the middle oil passage 222 into two oil chambers (a first oil chamber 222a and a second oil chamber 222b) in the row direction of the four cylinder bores 223. In the bulkhead 24, a communication path 24a is provided for providing communication between the first oil chamber 222a and the second oil chamber 222b which are divided by the bulkhead 24. |
