PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling device capable of more appropriately attaching a longer and thinner label.SOLUTION: A labeling device 1 attaching a cylindrical label Lb to a container Bt includes a label opener 4 holding only one surface side of the label Lb on which two pairs of folds extending in a longitudinal direction have been formed in such posture that both opening ends of the label Lb are kept top and bottom, and made to freely move to open/close around a shaft extending in the longitudinal direction of the label Lb, and a mandrel 3 having a head 31 whose cross sectional dimension is made smaller toward a lower edge, and descending from the upper side of the label Lb held by the label opener 4. The lower edge of the head 31 is made to advance into the label Lb by making the mandrel 3 descend relative to the label Lb, when the label opener 4 is in a state between a totally closed state and a totally opened state, and also it is in a label LLb holding state. |
