PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of reducing alarms due to incorrect determination of approaching vehicles, and reducing uncomfortable feeling given to a driver.SOLUTION: A driving support device comprises: a traveling sound sensor 32 that is mounted on a vehicle 1, and detects sound information around the vehicle 1; a camera 31 that obtains image information around the vehicle 1; a support execution unit 85 that executes driving support to a driver on the basis of the sound information detected by the traveling sound sensor 32; and a support determination unit 82 that changes modes of the driving support on the basis of the shielding amount of a shielding object 105 derived from the image information. |
