PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chamber for a whole body exposure type test and a test apparatus which do not require a large amount of equipment cost and do not restrain an experimental animal in a narrow space.SOLUTION: A chamber 1 for a whole body exposure test includes a rearing cage 2, a mesh floor 3, an air discharge port member 4, a hopper 5, and an air supply port member 6. The rearing cage 2 or the hopper 5 is formed of a transparent body, and the rearing cage 2 and the hopper 5 are joined so that their openings 2c, 5c butt against each other. The air discharge port member 4 penetrates a bottom plate 2a of the rearing cage 2 and is connected to an air discharge pipe 7. The air discharge port member 4 includes an air discharge port 4a facing in the lateral direction so as not to suck dust passing through the mesh floor 3 and falling. The hopper 5 forms a closed space in cooperation with the rearing cage 2. The air supply port member 6 is mounted so as to penetrate a top plate 5a of the hopper 5 and connected to an external air supply pipe 8 sending a test gas into the rearing cage 2. The air supply port member 6 includes an air supply port 19d diffusing a vortex flow of the test gas through the hopper 5. |
