The device (10) has seat units (12, 44, 46) comprising seat bottom units (14, 84, 86), seat back units (16, 50, 52) and uprising units (18, 92). A connection unit (20) i.e. cushion connection unit, is coupled with a stretcher device (22) whose weight force is transferred to the seat unit. The connection unit comprises a detent device (26), which is provided to couple the stretcher device to the seat unit. The connection unit is adapted to provide an electrical, electronic and/or pneumatic connection. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a stretcher device for a seat device (2) an adapter system for mounting a stretcher device at a seat device.
