ELECTRIC MOTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of a sealant from a lead wire take out part in an electric motor where at least a coil end is covered by the sealant.SOLUTION: An elastic partition wall 21 including a tapered through hole 22 is provided at a part of a peripheral wall of a casing 14, and a plug 23 made of an elastic material and formed into a tapered shape is fitted in the through hole 22. A lead wire passing hole 24 is provided at the plug 23, and a sealant 20 is injected with a lead wire 25 connected with a coil end 19a and passing through the lead wire passing hole 24. The injection pressure presses the plug 23 into the through hole to cause the plug 23 to adhere to a through hole peripheral surface and elastically deforms the plug 23 in a diameter reduced direction thereby closing the lead wire passing hole 24.
