PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for a color filter superior in storage stability to be used for an inkjet method.SOLUTION: In an ink composition for a color filter to be used for forming a color filter by an inkjet method, ratio (pigment/resin amount) of a pigment amount in a solid component excluding a solvent to a resin amount in an ink composition ranges from 20 to 60 wt.%, and ratio (dispersant/pigment) of a dispersant amount in which pigment is dispersed, to the pigment amount ranges from 45 to 120 wt.%.
