In some embodiments, an apparatus described herein comprises a conduit core comprising at least one radiation transmissive surface, a fluid disposed in the conduit core and a photoactive assembly at least partially surrounding the conduit core, the photoactive assembly comprising a radiation transmissive first electrode, at least one photosensitive layer electrically connected to the first electrode, and a second electrode electrically connected to the photosensitive layer.
