<p>The present invention improves the work efficiency of the worker wearing the helmet. An air-venting space (A), which is provided between the hat body (12) and a liner (14) disposed on the inner surface of the hat body (12) and which communicates with the outside at the edge of the hat body, is used as the site for setting a fan motor (18). Moreover, by said fan motor (18) being set at a site towards the front of the air-venting space (A) with the ventilation direction facing toward the front edge of the hat body (12), the air sent from the fan motor (18) flows smoothly from the front edge of the hat body (12) in the direction extending beyond hat body (12). Said air flow being jetted from the front edge of the hat body (12) as a sheet configures a so-called air curtain (CA) in front of the face of the helmet wearer. As a result of the sheet-like air flow, the air curtain (CA) functions as a barrier wall that blocks the approach of fine particles such as dirt and dust that are in front of the wearer's face.</p> |
