PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately select a synchronization destination according to a preamble pattern. SOLUTION: The base station device performs communications by a radio communication system using a plurality of patterns of preambles. The base station device has: a means for performing synchronization processing for synchronizing base stations with other base station devices; and a selection section 13 for selecting other base station devices to be synchronized, based on the pattern of the preamble transmitted by other base station devices.
