The present invention relates to a steam generator for steam cleaning. The steam generator comprises a water supply pipe, a steam pipe connected to the water supply pipe, a water pump inducing the water through the water supply pipe and supplying the water to the steam pipe, and a heater unit generating steam by heating the steam pipe. The heater unit includes a first heater generating heat as the first operational power is applied and a second heater generating heat of a higher temperature than the first heater. The steam pipe is arranged in series at the first and second heaters and is successively heated by the first and second heaters. According to the present invention, the cleaning efficiency can be improved by maximizing the discharge quantity of high temperature and high pressure steam with minimum power consumption and the device can be provided by being simplified and miniaturized. |
