The straightening machine (1) has a conveying path through which a metallic material (6) is passed in a conveying direction (7) by an upper straightening roller and a lower straightening roller (3). The straightening rollers are formed such that the straightening rollers are adjustable in an angle deviating from the perpendicular angle relative to the metallic material. The straightening rollers are deflectable such that the size of the deflection of the straightening rollers in the conveying direction of metallic material decreases.
