<p>Present invention provides a novel method and system for crosstalk reduction in retarder-type stereoscopic displays (D), in which the vertical viewing angle (±) of the user (U) is determined and the crosstalk is reduced by refining pixel intensities in accordance with the detected vertical viewing angles (±) and predetermined crosstalk tables. The method ensures user position aware crosstalk reduction. Consequently, user viewing comfort is ensured regardless of user's position in relation to display (D).</p> |
