The present invention relates to a leveling ruler with a new structure capable of preventing the occurrence of errors in measuring due to inclining toward one side. A leveling ruler prepared thereby provides convenience in measuring work because a ruler body (A) is supported by a support (B) to stand vertically, in turn, an operator does not have to hold the ruler body (A) to stand vertically. The leveling ruler also has a strength to prevent errors from occurring because of a not vertically standing ruler body (A) due to the mistake of the operator. In particular, a first and a second brake (50, 60) equipped in a support unit (40) fix the ruler body (A) not to turn left and right, or front and back when the ruler body (A) stands vertically, thereby effectively preventing the ruler body (A) from inclining toward one side. |
