<p>Disclosed is a means for highly efficiently removing a metal which is dissolved in waste water. Specifically, a water-soluble polymer (2) having a carboxyl group is added into waste water in which a metal salt (1) is dissolved. As a result, an ion bond (3) which is composed of a water-soluble polymer having a metal ion acidic group is formed therein. Then, a solution of a water-soluble polymer (4) having an amino group is added thereto. By the addition of the water-soluble polymer having an amino group, an ion bond (5) which is composed of an acidic group of the water-soluble polymer having an acidic group and an amino group of the water-soluble polymer having an amino group is formed therein. By the formation of the ion bond, the water-soluble polymer having an amino group and the water-soluble polymer having an acidic group are crosslinked with each other. Since the thus-obtained crosslinked product is not soluble in water, the crosslinked product is deposited as a flocculated material (6) in which metal ions are trapped.</p> |
