<p>A method for tracking hand washing comprising a system assembled and integrated into a hygiene critical environment 100, such as a hospital, kitchen or toilet. The system comprising RFID readers 102, integrated into non-contact combination hand wash and dry systems 104, which are linked to electronic tags 103, worn by individuals, such as on a name badge. There may also be RFID readers attached to walls and ceilings to track individuals movements through a hygiene critical environment. There may also be further RFID readers affixed adjacent to entries and exits. The RFID readers and tags ensure compliance with strict hygiene sequence rules, whereupon should said hygiene sequence not be adhered to, individuals' exit from a hygiene critical environment may be barred by electronic means until there is compliance. Non-compliance with hygiene sequence may be reported by electronic means to a monitoring station which can be situated anywhere in the world.</p> |
