A rotating dual switching mechanism comprises first and second switches, each switch having an activator movable between an "on" and "off' states. The activator of the first switch is located on a rotation axis, and the activator of the second switch is offset from the rotation axis. A ring-shaped actuator concentric with the rotation axis is movable between a first position operable to put the activator of the second switch in the "off' state thereof, and a second position operable to put the activator of the second switch in the "on" state thereof. A switch arm is rotatable perpendicularly about the rotation axis and is movable by sliding along a radius orthogonal to the rotation axis between first and second positions for putting the activator of the first switch in "on" and "off' states and the ring-shaped actuator in its first and second positions. |
