The invention relates to a device that couples to photographic systems consisting of a camera and an objective, and provides functions of producing creative effect in the photography of moving subjects as a result of placing, in front of said objective, an opaque element that only lets light through a generally linear groove that can be moved by the user. As a result of the use of grooves of determined shapes, the invention also provides certain functions of filtering and selectively attenuating the light from a scene, which have, until now, been reserved for the use of crystal filters. This device also provides some advantages in the field of photographic technique with colour filters and in the multiexposition technique.
