PURPOSE: A magnesium battery is provided to improve charge-discharge speed by using magnesium with high density as a main material for an outer case (-) and to streamline the manufacturing process of a cathode. CONSTITUTION: A magnesium battery includes a case (10), a carbon rod (20), top / lower insulation materials (31, 32), an electrolyte (40) and a gasket (50). The case has a through hole (11) on the top. The carbon rod makes air gap with the inner wall of the case. A carbon sheet (60) winds the outer periphery of the carbon rod. The top / lower insulation material is loaded on the top and the bottom part of the carbon rod. The electrolyte fills inside the case. The gasket is positioned at the through-hole of the case to electrically separate the carbon rod and the case. |
