According to the present invention, provided are a jig for the air test of a ballast tank and an air test method of a ballast tank thereby to perform the air test of the ballast tank for a ship. The jig for the air test of a ballast tank comprises: a jig body comprising an inflow pipe connected to an air hose for supplying test air to introduce the air, a flowing pipe having a flowing passage in which the air introduced through the inflow pipe flows, and a supply pipe inserted through the bottom shell of the ballast tank to inject the air introduced through the flowing passage of the flowing pipe into the ballast tank; a fixing unit for fixing the jig body on the outer surface of the bottom shell; and an air control valve installed between the inflow pipe and the flowing pipe to control an amount of the introduced air. In comparison with an existing case where the air test of the tank is performed by mounting the jig for air test on a manhole cover inside a hull, the present invention reduces the muscular skeletal diseases of workers caused when the workers transfer the jig and air hose for air test into the hull, and solves a problem that the time for transferring and disassembling the jig and air hose for air test is long because the air test of the tank is performed using the air supplied through the air hose by mounting the jig for air test on a discharge hole to which a bottom plug is coupled on the bottom of a dock. |
