摘要 The present invention relates to a function test device and a method thereof, capable of immediately checking the abnormality of a loop of a control circuit by automatically generating an input signal, measuring an output signal, and automatically analyzing the signals with a compared waveform in the whole loop function test of the control rod control circuit. The function test device, in the function test device of a nuclear reactor control rod control system including a drive mechanism unit driven by one or more electronic cards, comprises an interface (110) for electrical connection with a control system including the electronic card; a diagnostic module (120) composing and applying input and output data, load properties, and control properties of the electronic card by being connected to the interface and applying a simulation output to the electronic card output; a circuit analysis unit (131) analyzing the electronic circuit; a finite-element analysis unit (132) for finite-element analysis; an engineering analysis unit (133) for engineering analysis; a diagnostic module driving unit (134) driving the diagnostic module (120); and a main computer (130) connected to the diagnostic module. The function test device facilitates the stable operation of a nuclear power plant by quickly and safely testing the function of a unit electronic card, the combination of the electronic card, and the whole system.
