The present invention relates to a strainer for the drainage hole of a sink. The body of the strainer for the drainage hole of a sink is made of metal and the top is open. The lateral circumference and the bottom of the body are formed with drain apertures at regular intervals. The lateral top of the body is fixed with a handle which is able to make a half-turn. The body is coated with titanium dioxide. The bottom center of the body is penetrated by a quartz tubular body of which top and bottom are shaped into a cone with a through-hole inside. The lower surface of the bottom of the body mounted with the quartz tubular body is inserted with a ring-shaped fixing member. The shaped fixing member is inserted into the quartz tubular body and attached to the lower surface. Therefore, the strainer for the drainage hole of a sink according to the present invention maintains hygienic environments for a kitchen by preventing bad smell, mold, and bacteria caused by food waste from propagating and spreading; improves user convenience by enabling users to collect and discard food waste without decomposition; has economic efficiency by facilitating maintenance using a simple structure without costing for the maintenance; and protects the environment by eliminating the usage of a bleach or a detergent for sterilizing the strainer. |
