A system and method are provided for providing access to media on a first mobile device. The method comprises sending a first request to a second mobile device using a peer-to-peer (P2P) messaging protocol, the first request being associated with access to media using the first mobile device. The first mobile device receives a response via the P2P messaging protocol, and enables or denies access to the media according to the response. |
