PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of making a user use a USB device over a network from a PC by using a device server without installing dedicated software in the PC.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises a USB interface and a network interface. The apparatus comprises, in the self apparatus, a USB peripheral controller taking a place of a USB peripheral controller included in a USB device to be connected to a device server. The apparatus can make a user use the USB device connected to the device server from a PC by communicating with the self controller from the PC. In this case, an endpoint address is converted in order to absorb difference between both the controllers. |
