PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbag having a shoulder strap easy to appropriately adjust the length thereof and easy to handle, the bookbag being closely fitted to a body upon being shouldered, considerably reducing the load weight sensed, thus reducing a load on a user.SOLUTION: A bookbag is configured such that a shoulder strap is adjusted in length and secured by a slide adjuster mechanism including a lower or upper shoulder strap having a locking projection formed in the width direction of the strap, and an upper or lower shoulder strap having a plurality of recessed grooves formed at predetermined intervals in the width direction of the strap, the groove locking the locking projection. The locking projection is provided at a buckle portion, and a locking release mechanism is provided on a surface of the buckle portion which faces the user's body. The locking release mechanism acts to release the locking relationship between the locking projection and the recessed groove. |
