PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound useful for preventing or treating prostate cancer and a medicine containing the compound.SOLUTION: A new pyrrole-imidazole-containing polyamide suppresses a fusion between a TMPRSS2 gene being an androgen response gene and an ERG gene belonging to an ETS family being a transcriptional control element in which a compound represented by the formula is a representative example. A medicine contains the compound.
