PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component removal device which removes an attachment component from a suction nozzle and unfailingly discards the removed attachment component to a predetermined position.SOLUTION: A component removal device 22 is used for removing an electronic component from a suction nozzle 34 suctioning and holding an electronic component 108 attached to a circuit board. The component removal device 22 includes a pair of brushes 72 which are disposed with tips contacting with each other. This structure allows a tip of the suction nozzle holding the electronic component on the tip to pass between the pair of brushes, and thereby removing the attachment component from the suction nozzle and dropping the electronic component removed from the suction nozzle to an area between the pair of brushes. The attachment component is removed from the suction nozzle and the removed attachment component is unfailingly discarded to a predetermined position through the above-described process. |
