The present invention relates to a point portion of a railway turnout and a railway turnout comprising the same. The point portion of the railway turnout in the present invention comprises a guide rail having a basic rail and a mobile rail which are separately provided in a constant interval on a sleeper. One end of the mobile rail is hinge-coupled and is movably formed in the left and right directions so as to guide wheels of a train to a specific branch line. A pair of shields is coupled with a left side and a right side of the mobile rail, respectively, so as not to come in contact with the wheels of the train passing the mobile rail.
