PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make configuration of a field device.SOLUTION: An adapter for a field device (pipe side joint) 1 is attached to a pipe 100. An EEPROM mounted on memory substrates 1 to 3 of the pipe side joint 1 is caused to store information useful for operation of a pressure transmitter attached to the pipe side joint 1 as operation information. When the pressure transmitter 200 is attached to the pipe side joint 1, a CPU 21 of a pressure transmitter body 2 reads the operation information stored in the EEPROM of the pipe side joint 1, and executes the configuration inside the device. |
